OUTFIT: Although this outfit may not scream “winter” to many people, because I live in sunny California, it does to me. I decided to play up the slip dress trend by layering it over this cute rose-print crop top that I bought at my local Goodwill (which matched my red eyeshadow!). By adding on a pair of fishnet tights and a Nasty Gal vegan leather jacket, I was able to stay warm (or at least warm enough for our 60 degree weather) yet stylish for the winter.

OUTFIT: I live on the east coast where it gets considerably cold in the winter, which is why I layer up accordingly. To be honest, at any given moment, I’m probably wearing at least 4 sweaters. I wore this outfit to get coffee and explore the city with my best friend. It was comfy and warm, yet still paired nicely for a vintage French vibe.

OUTFIT: You remember when you were younger and you liked to wear all your favourite clothes at once, never minding whether they matched? Well, that’s how… this started. My favourite clothes have been begged, borrowed, and stolen - well, when you raid your mums’ wardrobes, does it count as stealing? The coat is borrowed from a family friend (and has been for about a year), and I found the dress at a vintage market. This is quite an eclectic outfit, but it all fits together as it is layered up; layers and bold colours are very needed in grey, drizzly England.

OUTFIT: Living in the southern part of Ontario, Canada proves to bring cold weather near this time of year, as we dip under 10°C. Unlike summer, I love to wear more oversized and thick cardigans or sweaters so this a go-to look for me. With the added pastel pink of my cardigan, it adds another layer to my simple and warm look.

OUTFIT: During the winter time, I tend to stick with plain prints and color palettes. Despite living in northern new jersey, weather fluctuates quite often so depending on the day, I would swap out my turtleneck for an off-the-shoulder top, or add on a vest and thicker coat.

OUTFIT: One of my favorite parts of winter fashion is the wonderful phenomenon of layering, and the endless possibilities that it offers. In particular, T-shirts over button downs have become a favorite look of mine. I paired this combo with a windbreaker and blue jeans to create a complete, well-rounded look. In St. Louis, Missouri, the weather could be 30 degrees and rainy one day and 65 and sunny the next in the winter. This outfit can still be comfortable worn and flaunted in either of these conditions; just keep or ditch the jacket.
