Since the election, many Americans have been weeping at the thought of what might happen next, especially LGBTQIA+ youth fearing for their futures. In this series, I captured their emotions with glitter illuminating their faces as a glimmer of hope that will never really go away. Some people fought back, still proud of themselves no matter what happens; others cried as they worried about their safety and how so many people could have overlooked them in the election booth. Post-election America isn't pretty, but hopefully these portraits of beautiful people are.
